The Design Charrette

The Design Charrette or TDC is an Architectural and Interior Design Firm, run by three women Architects with knowledge and experience in varied fields of Construction. TDC is based out of Indore, and is operated from Mumbai and Bangalore too; with its work spread across various other cities of Madhya Pradesh and India.

A design charrette in a literal sense is an intense period of design or planning activity. ‘The Design Charrette’ as the name suggests is a place where one can find the best of solutions for any design problem since we believe in collaboration. It allows everyone who is part of the project to be a mutual author of the plan.

We’re thrilled to announce the official release of SANDUK, a Production Design project that’s particularly close to our hearts, now available on the OTT platform Waves by Doordarshan/Prasar Bharati. The entire film was shot in a single setting of a 'Haveli' that we designed and constructed from scratch inside an empty warehouse in Indore. This project, carried out during the challenging COVID period, reflects the immense dedication and hard work of the entire team.
